YOUNG LEADERSHIP PROGRAM

Young Leaders is a program designed to link young Saudis with the world’s youth through preparing them as promising leaders that are ready to shake hands with the global community.

Young Leaders Program (YLP) is designed to link young Saudis with the world’s youth through preparing them as promising leaders that are ready to shake hands with the global community. The program focuses on their skills, interests, achievements, and leads them to extend their personal experiences and aspirations. YLP offers periodic meetings, advanced workshops, and local civil society visits. The program was created to prepare the participants to become responsible and active delegates in international forums.

The program offered an equal space for 60 young leaders (30 males and 30 females), which affirmably embraces the values of the gender equality and empowerment of youth, especially women, in various sectors. The program supported 7 community- based initiatives that have contributed to the creation of hundreds of opportunities locally and globally for both genders.
Salam ensured that all of the Kingdom’s regions had equal and fair opportunities to join the YLP, where the Salam Project committee and YLP team received more than 800 applications. There were measurable tests for the program to guarantee the eligibility of applicants, including a standardized tests and personal interviews.
